Smuts är bra! (Dirt is good!) is the official slogan for a Swedish washing powder. In logic, smuts (dirt) and renhet (cleanliness) are opposites, but in dichotomy they are each other´s compliment. Smuts would not exist without renhet and vice versa.
I reflect about the meaning and symbolic connotations of the word smuts associating it with material, behavior, the body, the fetish, the language and music.
